Creative Camp is a free un-conference event for people passionate about creativity.

CREATIVE CAMP is an event designed to combine the best of creativity, business and technology. Participants are invited to give talks, do demonstrations, and show their work. It is these participants who then set the agenda, decide on topics and generate the content, demos and portfolio presentations.
The event’s purpose is for people from creative industries to meet, network, and learn from each other. This includes any creative practitioners who have ideas, innovations, experience or inspiration they want to share.

Celebrating Serendipity and Failure
This year’s Creative Camp will explore the undervalued roles of chance and error in creative practice and business. No success story is built entirely on planning and knowledge, there is always some unplanned magic under the surface, and plenty of screw-ups along the way. The untold story is about the trial and error that leads us to be in the “right place at the right time”, which would never have happened if we had tried to get things perfect in the first place. This is serendipity. Let’s not leave it to chance any more.

CREATIVE CAMP 2012 will be held at Media Zoo Studios in Belfast
MediaZoo Studios is a rapidly evolving new media production house in the heart of Belfast.
In December 2010 we hosted Belfast’s last creative camp, with over 70 participants and 20 speakers. Feed back from attendees included: “It actually exceeded my expectations and really inspired me”. You can see the video from Creative Camp 2010 here
