What is Blick?

Blick is a social enterprise established with the aim of bringing together creative professionals from a variety of backgrounds to form a cross discipline, supportive organisation for small and start up creative businesses within Northern Ireland. Blick provides incubation workspace, meeting room, boardroom and conference and event facilities and business growth support and networking opportunities.

Who is behind Blick?

Blick is unique in being founded and managed by young creative professionals, allowing the organisation an exclusive understanding of the needs of the businesses it supports.

How is Blick funded?

Blick is funded by Belfast City Council and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment’s Building Sustainable Prosperity Programme

Who is Blick for?

Blick was set up as a supportive organisation for the creative industries and in particular for small and start up creative businesses. The creative industries are those which have their origin in individual creativity, skill and talent and which have a potential for wealth and job creation through the generation and exploitation of intellectual property. The creative industries comprise the following sectors: advertising, architecture, the art and antiques market, crafts, design, designer fashion, film and video, interactive leisure software, music, the performing arts, publishing, software, television and radio. In particular we focus our support on the following key sub-sectors of the creative industries as identified by Belfast City Council:

•    Digital media
•    Music
•    Design
