Belfast Design Week – Late Night Design
Late Night Design is a design industry event where we visited a variety of local design studios and heard the design journeys of some of the designers working within the studios to inspire and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship within the local design community.
The first studios were visited were those of Part Two Design at the Meter House in Belfast’s Gasworks.
Part Two Design is a branding and graphic design company that was formed in January 2014 after a demerger of the leading Belfast design company, Triplicate who has worked with companies including Mauds Ice Cream and Deli-Lites.

Next we visited Double Jump Studios at Ormeau Business Park. Double Jump Studios is an exciting motion graphics and video production who produce dynamic visuals for online, business and broadcast.

Thirdly, we attended a great talk by Fathom UX at the beautiful Sinclair House, Belfast.Fathom is a user experience consultancy which works with agencies and organisations to improve online performance.

Finally we visited the creative design studio Usfolk who announced the winner of the Belfast Design Week, Drip Draw: Illustrate a Coffee Cup competition.Usfolk specialises in brand identity, illustration, print, website design and packaging on Queen’s Street, Belfast.
