Just a few tickets left for this creative talk next Wednesday evening with multidisciplinary designer Alana McDowell sharing her creative story.

Alana is a multi-disciplinary designer working between Australia and Belfast. Alana enjoys working across a diverse range of mediums from print and digital to large scale mural work. She has a keen interest in pop-culture and current affairs, drawing inspiration from areas she feels passionate about to create art with a rebellious edge. You can expect heavy line work, bold type, 70s inspired graphics and bright contrasting colours in her work. Notable brands Alana has worked with include Nike, Adidas, Vans, WWF and Lululemon.

Alana will be sharing her creative story during this talk, talking about why she does what she does, how she started out, what she has learnt on her journey so far and her plans for the future.

As we approach the end of January and make plans for the year ahead, we wanted to take some time to look back and reflect on the previous year. To learn from and have gratitude for all of our experiences as we look to the future. A lot of 2023 for us at Blick was spent rebuilding our systems and processes and new website following the pandemic, but we also had some amazing opportunities to try new things, learn, research, and reflect.

You can read the full article on our blog (link in profile)

Thank you to everyone who was part of our journey in 2023, we are looking forward to this new year and the opportunities it will bring.
