We have interviewed some more amazing designers over the last few days! These are our highlights from the past week of Womenfolk profiles!
Our profiles 20-26 are:
- Hunter Paper Co. – “Honestly, just get to work and do it. It sounds cliche, but trusting your gut is hugely important.”
- Mosley London– “…if I could give 3 bits of advice they would be: design every day, share everything you do and take positives from any feedback to make your products better!”
- TapSOS – “Don’t put too much pressure on yourself; some of the best ideas come to mind during the most random, unplanned times. Think blue sky, you can always reel it in later.”
- Anita Brown 3D Visualisation– “Know your market. Conducting market research helps you to understand the needs and wants of your target audience so much.”
- The Creativity Hub – “I think that the key difference in designing for products for children is that they are not the target ‘market’. Adults sell toys and adults buy toys. One of the things that bothers me about the international toy fairs that we attend is that there are no children allowed. Too often the business of selling products meet adults’ rather than children’s needs.”
- Attune – ” I am attracted to ‘intelligent’ design – products designed to work. I like Art Deco, Bauhaus, Chanel and Dior silhouettes, Donna Karan, Roland Mouret, Audi & using CAD designed vinyl lettering/graphics on show stands.”
- Tactility Factory – ” Some of the projects that Tactility Factory has worked on outside of Northern Ireland include large-scale spaces in Dubai, Cairo and Abu Dhabi. It has been exciting for Trish to work with cultures that work with and appreciate pattern at such a large scale. “
