As a creative industries organisation we also offer reduced rates for creative industry businesses.

Monthly and Weekly Options

Monthly Business Address Service

At the start of each month we will redirect up to 15 items of regular and standard large letter-sized business mail to the address of your choice. Post beyond the 15 letters will be charged at the price of postage, and the cost will be added to your following bill.

*The vision of Blick Shared Studios is to focus on the needs of creative industry entrepreneurs. Creative businesses will be classified as eligible for reduced creative industry prices for virtual services using the UK’s definition of the creative industries – ‘those industries that are based on individual creativity, skill and talent with the potential to create wealth and jobs through developing intellectual property’ – includes thirteen sectors: advertising, architecture, the art and antiques market, crafts, design, designer fashion, film, interactive leisure software (i.e. video games), music, the performing arts, publishing, software, and television and radio.

Weekly Business Address Service

We will redirect business mail to the address of your choice weekly. Up to 25 items of regular and standard large letter-sized mail per calendar month. Post beyond the 25 letters will be charged at the price of postage, and the cost will be added to your following bill.

Virtual Office FAQ's

All fees must be paid in advance by direct debit or bank transfer. All monthly fees must be paid quarterly in advance and all annual fees must be paid in full in advance.

The service is designed for standard letter size (including Royal Mail large letters) business mail and isn’t suitable for oversized mail or parcels. We will let you know via email when any parcels or oversized letters arrive and you can organise for them to be forwarded at an additional cost or to arrange a collection from the studios.

Mail will be redirected via Royal Mail to the address supplied on a weekly or monthly basis depending on the service selected.

For UK creative businesses:

Our monthly business address service costs £22.50 per month or £200.00 annually or for our weekly business address service £30.00 per month or £300.00 annually.

For UK non-creative businesses:

Our monthly business address service costs £30.00 per month or £300 per year or for our weekly business address service £40.00 per month or £400.00 annually.

For EU Creative businesses:

Our monthly business address service costs £30.00 per month or £300.00 per year or for our weekly business address service £40.00 per month or £400.00 annually.

For EU non-Creative businesses:

Our monthly business address service costs £40.00 per month or £400.00 per year or for our weekly business address service £50.00 per month or £500.00 annually.

Blick is a local, independent social enterprise offering affordable shared workspace, events, services and support for creatives in Belfast. Choosing Blick means your money goes to support the local economy and the creative industries in Northern Ireland. Our services have been designed by creatives for creatives. We cut out the unnecessary extras and aim to offer excellent value for money and really good service by a small but professional team. We have 15 years experience providing virtual services for creatives. We know what we are doing and can be relied upon to provide a professional service as well as being friendly and approachable.

We currently have three buildings in Belfast, two in Belfast’s creative Cathedral Quarter area close to Belfast School of Art and the other in leafy South Belfast near Queens University Belfast and offer virtual services within both the Cathedral Quarter and South Belfast.

We are delighted to be taking part in this exciting series of free Self-Care Workshops for Individual Artists being organised by The Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

Taking place on the 7th November we will be delivering one-to-one 30 minute sessions helping artists to take steps to take control and be more confidenct about their business finances. The aim of the sessions is to take the the fear out of finances for artists with informative, but down to earth approachable financial information, resources and sign-posting. To make taking steps to understanding and taking control of your own finances less scary and stressful for artists.

The sessions are now fully booked, but do check out all the other great events as part of the program and thanks to the Arts Council of Northern Ireland for inviting us to be part of it, we are really looking forward to it

This Saturday morning in our Hill St studios as part of @homewerk.project, talented BBC radio producer Owen McFadden of @whyfiproductions will be sharing some of his secrets for audio creativity in this creative audio for beginners workshop.

Fresh from winning gold at the 2025 British Podcast Awards for a history podcast documentary on the Brighton Bomb, Owen is also the producer of The Ticket, BBC Radio Ulster's most essential arts show.

Hard to believe it has been a year since our trip to Hong Kong to create the Design Your Life interactive design installation with Belfast Design Week as part of the British Council Hong Kong Spark Festival. Sadly no international travel this year, but lots of great projects coming up including more @belfastdesignwk projects as part of @irish_designweek in November. Our next Creative Talk is this Wednesday 15th October at 7pm in our Hill St studios with Ciaran Crudden founder and creative director of The Last Brand a creative studio committed to crafting brands that capture imaginations and inspire meaningful consumer interactions.

Ciaran is a senior creative with over 15 years’ experience across branding, experiential, art direction and motion design. His work focuses on uncovering the visual and verbal threads that connect and resonate with audiences. Known for bold ideas and thoughtful execution, Ciaran blends strategy with creativity to craft brand communications and experiences that are both distinctive and authentic.

In this talk, Ciaran will reflect on his creative journey, offering insights into different projects, valuable lessons learned, and the real-world experience of running an independent creative studio.
